Hello There! And welcome to our 14th Blue Peter Book. We're not boasting, but we do think we must have set a record. We can't think of any other programme on television that's had a book written all about it every year since 1963. On top of that, the books have been best sellers. Nearly half a million copies have been printed of each edition of books four to fourteen. And in the world of publishing, for hard-back books, this really is a record.

People often write and ask how they can get hold of books One, Two, Three, Four and Five. The answer is - we just don't know. All the early editions are out of print and the only hope is to get one as a swap, or find one at a jumble sale. We keep one complete set in the Blue Peter office, and we'd very much like to hear from anyone else who's also got a volumes One to Fourteen. If you have, our advice is hang on to them - they look as though they're well on their way to becoming real collectors' items!

This fourteenth edition of the Blue Peter Annual has 80 pages with topics such as:
  • Brunel
  • Concorde
  • Glen Nevis River Race
  • and much more...
The images above show pages 18 & 19 and pages 44 & 45 showing topics including Queen Elizabeth Slept here and A Tale of Two Cities - Conventry and Warsaw

This book is in a good condition for its age, although there is some slight damage to the spine and a cut across the front hardback cover, as shown in the picture below.
